Facebook Is Now Your Mini Blog

Through tedious efforts of developers and designers at Facebook developer section, it has been made possible for users to export their photos, videos and other Facebook data. This update has transformed Facebook a social network website into your mini blog.

Robert Goodlatte and his small team with dexterous work have finally made it possible for people to turn their social network profile into a mini blog. Spending hours with the new Facebook Open Graph API while working in a company hackathon, they were able to create a simple theme that was able to import tons of Facebook data right off your profile. This new addition makes the social networking site to get a makeover. The feature was named as “Facebook.me”.

This new feature on the social network buzz was later on disclosed to the public. The feature works in a simple way,

·         Connecting your Facebook profile with the App
·         Granting it access to publish posts, comments, photos and other items
·         After the items are imported, select the theme that best suits your taste

Right now there are only 3 themes available that the user can play around with. Goodlatte himself demonstrated the feature in front of the people. The themes were also introduced to the people; these themes involved a high class touch to them. The themes give your mini blog an artistic touch and the interface was easy to understand, the simplification was added to avoid confusion that would have among people who wanted to try it out. Right now Facebook is the only social network site that is offering this unique new feature.
